This kilim is made of 100-percent wool and pure vegetable dyes. The knot count for this kilim is 160. This kilim has a geometric pattern in shades of brown ivory blue black gold red grey and rust.Story Behind the Art:Master Turkoman weavers in the Northern part of Afghanistan have created the beautiful pattern of this rug. These beautiful designs are achieved by interweaving the various colors of the vertical and horizontal strands of the kilim. It can be used as a wall hanging or as a floor covering. Due to the handmade nature of our kilims the size may vary from as advertised by 3-4 inches. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your kilim looking new for years to come.
